About
Having recently completed his industrial placement, Tom is eager to share his experiences from his placement year, covering everything from securing the role to the key lessons and insights he gained along the way.
He will also discuss the design and success of Perry, the robot that became the University of Brighton's undisputed Robot Wars Champion 24/25, as well as his conference paper publication on an Isothermal Liquid Piston.
Finally, Tom will delve into his passion for military history by tackling one of the most enduring debates of all time: What was the best tank of the Second World War?
