Preparing for Professional Registration

About

Professional Registration can enhance you career prospects by recognising your skills and experience and demonstrating your commitment to professionalism. These professional qualifications are peer assessed and internationally recognised. The IET is licensed by the Engineering Council to assess applicants and award the following titles CEng, IEng, EngTech and ICTTech.

This 5.5 hour course has been designed over two days and will take you through the requirements of UK-SPEC and the process of preparing and submitting an application for Professional Registration. You will learn how to plan, record and review your professional development as you progress towards registration, including how to assess your skills level against the relevant framework and how those supporting you can help along the way. In your homework you will be able to assess your work experience against the set competences in the UKSPEC ready to share with the group the following day, the homework should take approximately 1 hour.

After the course, you will recieve ongoing support from our Professional Registration team, who possesses comprehensive knowledge of the requirements and pathways to professional registration. You will be offered bespoke one-to-one advice and guidance tailored to assist you in your ongoing journey. This dedicated support aims to ensure your continued progress and success in achieving your professional registration goals.
