REMAP: probably the greatest charity you have never heard of
About
The feeling of isolation and helplessness that many of us felt during the pandemic is what too many people with disabilities feel every day of their lives. Simple things like how do you wash a cup with only one hand; how to allow your child with cerebral palsy to exercise safely on an adult treadmill? At REMAP we believe that every person with a disability in the UK should have access to a service that can solve these challenges.
We have a network of 800 talented and dedicated volunteers across the country who design and make custom solutions free of charge. We treat every client as an individual and are led by what they want to achieve. Our volunteers are drawn from all walks of life ranging from professional engineers to craftspeople, to model makers and many more.
Every project delivers life-changing benefits to someone who needs our help. Come and find out more and learn how you can help.
