Renewable Energy Generation at Melbourne Water hosted by IET Victoria Network

Melbourne Water’s journey to reduce carbon emissions has included the installation of 75 MW capacity of renewable energy generation which can generate the equivalent of over 180,000 tons of carbon emissions reduction every year. Using innovative technology, whole of lifecycle financial analysis and tailored delivery models, these hydro-power, solar and biogas generators are helping reduce Melbourne Water’s operating costs.
