Repurposing pipelines for a new hydrogen network

The repurposing of existing pipelines for hydrogen distribution presents a significant cost-saving opportunities; however, the integrity of the pipeline must be thoroughly assessed in order to ensure safe and efficient operation. In this presentation, existing challenges associated with the conversion of existing oil and gas pipelines to hydrogen, focusing on technical hurdles in relation to pipeline integrity will be addressed. By the end of the presentation, participants will gain a clearer understanding of the pathway to effective hydrogen integration into existing pipeline infrastructure.
