RMS - Heat Pumps in our Homes
About
Renewable generation technologies are the
cheapest way to make electicity. They make it
pssible to produce electricity with zero proximate
emissions of carbon dioxide. The energy and cost
savings are so large that the widespread use of heat pumps is inevitable.
The talk will outline how heat pumps work and how
in homes they will come to replace the gas or oil boiler.
The talk will be presented by Micheal de Podesta. He retired in 2020 after a career as a Physics lecturer (Birkbeck and UCL) and a measurement scientest
at NPL.
