RMS Walk - New Haw Lock to Town Lock, Weybridge

Distance: 3.5 miles

Start time: Arrive 10.15 for 10.30 start

Area: A counter-clockwise loop from New Haw Lock to Town Lock in Weybridge; it encompasses sections of the River Wey and the Wey Navigation.

Parking: Parking is at the New Haw Lock car park

It seems that it’s a popular location so car sharing to get there would help, or get a train to Byfleet & New Haw station. No nearby public toilets.

Conditions: Flat; two sturdy stiles; there’s minimal mud except for one stretch near the end.

Look out for: Locks, plus sheep, donkeys, geese, ducks, herons, moorhens

Lunch: White Hart at New Haw which serves pub grub at modest prices (parking is controlled so I recommend not using unless you’re in the pub)
