Robotics - where we are now and what the future could look like

About

Robotics is widely used within the automotive and electronics manufacturing sectors and adoption is growing across wider manufacturing sectors. The accelerating developments in AI, vision and other sensing technologies is opening up applications in a wide range of newer sectors from agriculture to construction. The development of humanoid robots is predicted, by some, to lead to a step change in robot deployment throughout society. This event will unpick some of these advances and provide a perspective on the current and future application of robotics in the UK.
