About

An excellent opportunity for members of the early careers community as well as more experienced members with an interest in sustainable and renewable energy technology to visit a community led and benefitted hydroelectric power installation in Congleton, Cheshire.

The tour will cover technical details on the engineering and infrastructure required to install and operate a hydro plant, as well as challenges faced on the business, regulatory and community aspect.
