About
Skyguide is the provider of Air Navigation Services (ANSP) for Switzerland and some of the bordering states national airspace.
It is a layered airspace service structure consisting of enroute overflying aircraft, approach sectors for airports, and Control Towers at the airports at themselves (physically or virtually).
The control room is the place where the controllers sit, speak to pilots to coordinate flights in the layered airspace structure. In addition, they also coordinate with other services, such as meteorological, emergency services, and more.
