Spark Lancaster is an exciting new technology festival set to
take place in the vibrant center of Lancaster, coinciding with
National Careers Week. Aimed at igniting the passion of
future engineers and innovators, this immersive STEAM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) event
invites participants to engage with cutting-edge technology
through dynamic workshops and demonstrations.
Key features include:
• Hands-On Tech: Attendees can take control of
Micro:bit-powered robots, delve into electronic crafting, and
experience the wonders of 3D printing and graphical
coding.
• Engineering Challenges: One Tenth Human will lead the
"Trap the Thief" challenge, a captivating activity backed by
the Royal Academy of Engineering.
• Careers & Innovation: A platform for local employers and
support organizations to offer insights into startups and
career paths within the tech industry.
