Presentation 1: ESOS

ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme managed by the Environment Agency for organisations in the UK meeting various qualification criteria. 

The presentation will address:-

  • Qualification criteria
  • Requirements & Deadlines
  • Assessment process
  • Penalties

Presentation 2: Energy saving and carbon reduction – a practical example

There are a number of measures which can be taken by plant designers and operators to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. 

This presentation looks at how Variable Speed Drives can be used to achieve this and includes a practical demonstration for a typical fan application.

Presentation 3: Case Study

This presentation provides a case study of a recent pumping application which proved very successful in reducing the operators energy consumption and carbon footprint with return on investment of less than 18 months.

Mr Gary Palmer

Applications Specialist - Innomotics Motors and Large Drives Ltd

Gary Palmer is an electrical engineer with over 40 years experience and is currently employed by Innomotics UK as a consultant looking at retrofitting Low voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Variable Speed Drives (VSD) solutions for existing customer applications where energy saving and Carbon reduction are required to drive the clients process towards nett zero.

Mr Adrian Bennett

Business Development Manger - Innomotics Motors and Large Drives Ltd

Adrian Bennett is currently employed as a Business Development Manager by Innomotics UK providing Low voltage (LV)  and Medium Voltage (MV) Drives solutions to Industry. Adrian has been working within the Drives Motors and Motion control arena for many years having a wealth of experience and understanding in many applications of drive train and mechanical power transmission  applications.
