Sustainable Living: A User, Manufacturer and Engineer Perspective.

About

Sustainable living is all about meeting our everyday needs while reducing our impact on the environment, using resources responsibly, and creating healthier and resilient homes, buildings, and communities.

For this event on sustainable Living in homes and buildings, a useful approach is to explore these three perspectives, followed by a cross-fictional discussion that brings them together.

In other words, it's a shared responsibility. Users influence how buildings are occupied, manufacturers determine what products are available, and engineers help design systems and buildings that make sustainable choices possible.
