Talk to the CEO Forum 2026

This year, we are very pleased to invite Mr. Karel Au, CEO of Autotoll Limited, to be our speaker of this annual flagship event of ECS. As a pioneer in Hong Kong’s intelligent transport systems (ITS) since 1998, Autotoll is widely recognized for operating the territory's electronic toll collection system (HKeToll) and has now evolved into a premier provider of smart city solutions. Our event will begin with an opening presentation by Mr. Au on executive leadership, smart mobility innovations, and industry trends. Followed by that, the program transitions into an interactive forum discussion, bringing together Mr. Au, forum moderator, and participants for a dynamic Q&A exchange on navigating engineering careers and solving modern urban challenges.

Mr. Karel Au is the Chief Executive Officer of Autotoll Limited, where he spearheads the strategic planning, development, implementation, and coordination of smart solutions across government, corporate, and commercial sectors. Holding a Civil Engineering degree from Imperial College London, Mr. Au brings an extensive background in systems architecture, enterprise IT infrastructure, and smart city technology management. He specializes in intelligent transport systems (ITS), smart city data integration, AI-driven traffic prediction, digital transformation for urban mobility and more.
