Dr. TAM is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years of solid experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. He possesses diversified technical and management skills in various functions, including engineering, technical support, and consulting services.

Throughout his career, Dr. TAM has been heavily involved in leading new Innovation & Technology (I&T) initiatives, such as Smart City and Digital Innovation & Transformation on AI, VA, Big Data and etc. He has managed an array of signature projects across different industries in Hong Kong and Macau, including banking and finance, hospitality, gaming, utilities, education, and government sectors.

Dr. TAM received his Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an Executive Diploma in Marketing Management & Strategic Marketing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Master and Doctor of Business Administrations from The HK Polytechnic University and Visiting Lecturer in MSc of Business Analytics.

In addition to his professional career, Dr. TAM is active in various community organizations. He served as the President of Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point in 2021/22 and is a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society MHKCS, Institute of Engineering and Technology MIET, and SIXSIGMA INSTITUTE - Registered Six Sigma Champion. He also serves as an Executive Committee member in the Knowledge Management Development Center, Senior Consultant in the GBA Business School, Advisory Committee member in Hang Seng University of HK, the Director of Careers & Intellectual Development for the HK PolyU MBA Alumni Association Ltd, and was awarded Social Angel in The HK Council of Social Service.
