Technical Talk: A Technology Enabled Heritage Site in Hong Kong – The Tai Kwun Story

Located in Hollywood, Tai Kwun is one of the most important heritages of Hong Kong, comprising of Police Station, Magistracy and Prison which were built in Year 1864, dating back to the early Colonial days. . It has been awarded with Award of Excellence, the highest recognition in 2019 UNESCO Asia Pacific for Culture Heritage Conservation. Since opening in Year 2018, Tai Kwun has received more than 20 million visitors  Effective Internet connection is part of our modern life. How to enable seamless internet communication without infringing the most stringent heritage conservation requirements become a major challenge to Communication and ICT Engineers
