Presentation 1: Solar Blue-Green Roof

Synopsis:
Integrating PV with roof planting system can be easily done. A project showcased in BEX Asia 2025 by Singapore Polytechnic Sembcorp co-location lab. This project shows that the energy efficiency of PV system, under local high ambient temperature, can be improved with planting below solar panels. With the planting, the roof floor temperature reduces, and the temperature of the room below the planting area reduces. Various testing bedding results will be presented.

Attendees will gain insights into the evolving EV charging ecosystem and understand how Huawei's innovations may shape future charging infrastructure development in Singapore.

Competent person for planning, design, installation and commissioning of mechanical & electrical (M&E) infrastructure and building services system.
Wang Long, David
Director of Charging Network Business and Head of Digital Power Solution at Huawei Singapore
Wang Long, David is the Director of Charging Network Business and Head of Digital Power Solution. He is responsible for the charging network business and technical solution of digital power which includes Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Data Center & EV Chargers.
He has more than 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specialize in the land transport industry, and is also a member of IES and an LTA certified EV charger equipment specialist. He joined Huawei in 2022 and has held various positions in the digital power business unit. From 2022 to 2023, he served as Head of Data Center Solution and Account Director of named accounts. From 2024 to now, he serves as Head of Digital Power Solution across various industries and Director of Charging Network Business.
He graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Electrical, Electronic Engineering with specialization in power systems and completed a series of professional certifications in Huawei.
