Technical Visit to DHL Central Asia Hub

About

DHL established its Central Asia Hub (CAH), one of three global hubs for DHL, in Hong Kong in 2004. Due to high annual growth in shipping volume, DHL expended its CAH by equipping with advanced material handling system (MHS) in which the annual throughput of the expended CAH goes up by 50% to 1.06 million tonnes per annum.  The expended CAH grand opening was conducted in Nov 2023.  This visit has a chance for participants to under the design principle and management strategy of MHS.  Moreover, the participants can have some idea for keeping high-quality and sustainable development of Hong Kong’s logistics industry.
