Technical Visit - Enfinium Energy From Waste Facility at Ferrybridge

About

Enfinium Ferrybridge is one of the UK’s most efficient energy from waste facilities with Ferrybridge 1 and 2 processing up to 1.3 million tonnes of residual waste to generate 170MW (gross) of electricity, enough power to meet the needs of up to 370,000 UK homes and businesses.

IET West Yorkshire Local Network have collaborated with Enfinium to organise this tour of their operational Energy from Waste Facility at Ferrybridge on Wednesday 23rd September 2026. The visit will give a technical insight into the infrastructure and operations of the power station and to learn more about their energy from waste process.
