Technical Visit to HK Electric – Lamma Power Station

About
With the commissioning of its first 250 MW coal-fired unit in 1982, the Lamma Power Station has served Hong Kong for over 40 years. Currently, the station has a total installed capacity of 3,082 MW, comprising three coal-fired units, four gas-fired combined cycle units, five open-cycle gas turbine units, one wind turbine, and one solar power system.

09:40 a.m. : Assemble at MTR South Horizons Station, Exit A
10:00 a.m. : Scheduled ferry from ALC Pier to Lamma Power Station
10:25 a.m. : Arrive Lamma Power Station (LPS)
10:25 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. : Tour around LPS:
•Visitor Centre
•L12 Viewing Gallery
•TFPV@Lamma Extension
12:00 p.m. : Depart by using the scheduled ferry (12:00 pm) to ALC
