Technical Visit to Northern Powergrid's Control Centre

Northern Powergrid is the electricity distribution network operator responsible for delivering power to over 8 million people across the North East, Yorkshire, and northern Lincolnshire. They manage the network of cables, substations, and other infrastructure that brings electricity to homes and businesses in these regions. The control centre that manages all the network operations has offered a select number of IET members the opportunity to visit the control centre and experience how the electricity network is operated and managed.
