Technical Visit to Photovoltaic Farms in Haiyan Town

Organized by PES, IET Hong Kong

About

Join us for a technical visit to Haiyan Town, Taishan, a showcase of sustainable development within the Greater Bay Area. The visit will feature one of the region's largest fishery photovoltaic (PV) projects, where solar generation, energy storage and aquaculture are combined to achieve efficient land use and reliable clean energy production.

Participants will explore Haiyan Town's innovative Solar-Storage-Charging development model and gain insight into how renewable energy technologies support decarbonization and long-term community development. The programme will also include a visit to the Haiyan Overseas Chinese Farm Wetland Park, highlighting the integration of wetland conservation, sustainable agriculture and environmental education.

Through site visits and guided sharing sessions, attendees will develop a better understanding of renewable energy infrastructure, ecological conservation and sustainable practices that are driving the transition towards a greener future.
