Technical Visit to Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Tunnel

Organized by Railway and Transport Section (RTS) Committee

About

IET RTS Committee is pleased to offer this technical visit to Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Tunnel, providing participants with a unique opportunity to explore one of Hong Kong’s most significant infrastructure projects. The visit will showcase TM-CLK Tunnel’s traffic control and surveillance systems and highlight the Management, Operation, and Maintenance (MOM) practices that ensure smooth daily operations. The TM-CLK Tunnel, the longest in Hong Kong, consists of two two-lane subsea road tunnels connecting Pillar Point in Tuen Mun South with the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port. This technical visit will offer valuable insights into the engineering challenges, innovative solutions, and operational strategies involved in managing this critical transport link.
