About

The Automated People Mover (APM), Hong Kong's first driverless railway system, operates through dedicated guideways connecting passenger terminals and the SkyPier Terminal at Hong Kong International Airport. With a capacity exceeding 7,800 passengers per hour, the APM is vital to passenger movement at one of the world's busiest airports.

We are pleased to present this technical webinar featuring our distinguished speaker, Mr. Tommy Kwan, MEng, MSc, CEng, MIET, Manager, APM Systems Maintenance at Airport Authority. Mr. Kwan will provide an overview of the APM system, discuss the upcoming Terminal 2 Line, and share valuable hands-on experience in maintaining high system availability and reliability.

This webinar offers IET members a unique opportunity to understand the maintenance aspects of the APM system, including innovative and technology implementations and third runway project upgrades.
