About
The Young Professionals Section (YPS) of IET Malaysia Network will be organizing our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 8 June 2024 (Saturday) from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, with both physical and virtual attendance.
Current YPS committee members and one representative from each On Campus will attend the AGM physically, where teambuilding activities (9.00 am to 11.00 am) will also be held before the AGM.
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us virtually for the AGM starting at 11.00 am. After registering, the meeting link will be sent to you before the event.

The Agenda of AGM 2024 is as follows (starting 11.00 am):
1) Welcoming remarks by 2023/24 Chairperson, Mr. Ling Ting Rang
2) Review of AGM 2023 minutes
3) Secretary report by 2023/24 Honorary Secretary, Ms. Liew Choy Tung
4) Treasury report by 2023/24 Honorary Treasurer, Mr. Ling Ting Sang
5) Election of 2024/25 YPS Malaysia Board
6) Appointment of 2024/25 Internal Auditors
7) Other arising matters
We would like to invite you to attend our AGM virtually. Please register before 12.00 pm, 1 June 2024.
We also welcome you to volunteer your service to the Institution. All the positions of the YPS Board are open for election, i.e., Chairman, Vice-chairman, Hon. Secretary, Hon. Treasurer, Assistant Hon. Secretary, Assistant Hon. Treasurer, and 12 Ordinary Committee Members. If you are interested, kindly fill in the nomination form (link) and submit it to us before 12.00 pm, 1 June 2024. Elections will be conducted during the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Remarks: The nominations only for those under 35 years old with valid IET membership. And also only those under 35 years old can vote.
