We're delighted to announce that our friends at the IESANZ - The Lighting Society invite our IET New Zealand members to join them at their upcoming one-day Symposium on Friday the 2nd August 2024, at Massey University's Albany (Auckland) campus!
Massey University and IESANZ - The Lighting Society are jointly hosting this event with the theme of ‘Nocturnal Harmony: Lighting Responsibly’. The symposium’s speakers will provide a wide range of perspectives on the highly relevant subject of outdoor lighting.
This event will be supplemented by a Trade Show, which will feature exhibits related to the Symposium theme. To get in the mood, everyone is welcome to attend a special screening of ‘The City Dark’ at the Bridgeway Cinema the night before the big event.

Programme
• 6:00 am Exhibitors set up for the Trade Show.
• 7:30 am Trade Show is open. Breakfast provided. Trade Show Exhibitor pass-holders and Symposium ticket-holders.
• 9:00 am Symposium begins. Symposium ticket-holders.
• 10:00 am Morning Tea. Trade Show Exhibitor pass-holders and Symposium ticket-holders.
• 10:30 am Symposium continues. Symposium ticket-holders.
• 12:00 pm Lunch. Trade Show Exhibitor pass-holders and Symposium ticket-holders.
• 12:30 pm Symposium continues. Symposium ticket-holders.
AND
• 12:45 pm Trade Show opens to the general public. All welcome, though RSVP is essential. No entry charge.
• 3:30 pm Symposium and Trade Show close with shared afternoon tea.
