The transformation of Mobile Telecoms with AI
About
This lecture will examine the growing intersect between AI and mobile telecommunications, describing how AI is being applied in different areas of the sector. It will explore practical applications of AI across four key areas – Network operations, devices, consumers and the operator’s workforce. Topics will include utilising AI to manage customer experiences, improve workforce efficiency and improve network efficiency through automated configurations as well as advanced RAN digital twins. The lecture will also explore AI’s role in consumer devices, driving a shift towards app-less phones.
