About
Wireless in Wales is a collection of around one hundred vintage radios, two hundred valves, and important books and magazines. The collection has recently been extended to give more space for the exhibits, as well as a much more organised environment. There are also a number of gramophone records on display, as well as a gramophone made in 1914. A phonograph, one of only five hundred made in 1910 by Thomas Edison, can also be seen. In addition, there is a Voigt Corner Horn, made in 1939 with a Lowther PM1 driver.
Altogether, a worthwhile place to visit!
There will be refreshments available: tea/coffee and biscuits.

There is no parking outside the museum; the public pay-and-display car park is close by and is called "Factory Ward". The machine accepts coins, cards, and the app is "Pay by Phone".
Nearer the time, you will be sent more detailed joining instructions including a picture of the building.

Museum Curator and Trustee - Wireless in Wales
David Crawford is a retired broadcast engineer, BBC Transmitter Department, Crown Castle, National Grid Wireless and Arqiva. After retiring in 2011, David was invited to join the team at Wireless in Wales.
