About

Extreme weather events are one of the UK railway’s most disruptive problems. Most fare-paying passengers and the public-at-large will be blissfully unaware, however, of the effort that goes into predicting, preventing and where necessary recovering from these incidents.

This webinar will open up the topic and look at the industry efforts, including the technology in use and being planned with respect to keeping the trains running under the effects of a changing climate.

Our speaker will be Alice Smith, Head of Weather Response at Network Rail
