Writing evidence for Professional Registration
This 4 hour course is designed to support individuals who are ready to write their application for professional registration or those who are coaching an applicant on their written evidence to become professionally registered through the IET. During this course delegates will learn how to create concise evidence to support competences. It also teaches applicants how to avoid revealing sensitive information. By working with the competency framework set out and maintained by the Engineering Council, the UK-SPEC, this course will take you through writing evidence to capture information that demonstrates the qualities and behaviours required to showcase an applicant’s competence. Working with a detailed case study, delegates will be able to extract the information needed for Professional Registration to ensure evidence is clear, concise and desensitised /declassified.

We are committed to having an environmentally responsible event portfolio and we are working hard to plan and implement events which reflect sustainable event best practices.
We are working with venues and suppliers that demonstrate best environmental practices, in particular achieving zero food waste, no single-use plastics, along with recycling and re-use of paper, metal, plastic and glass.
In order to reduce the carbon footprint of the event, we strongly encourage delegates to walk, cycle or use public transport to attend the event.
Further information about environmental sustainability and IET Events can be obtained by contacting rebecca.booth@theiet.org.
