Youth Professionals Programme 2025

IET Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is devoted to build a reliable platform for young engineers to find solutions to challenges in career. Senior managements from leading companies and training experts will be invited for mentoring and sharing. The programme will create a learning environment to help the young professionals to obtain professional competence and infinite possibilities in the future and further support them to achieve professional registration as a Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the future.

This programme consists of 7 workshops based on different areas. Throughout the workshops and activities, the programme aims to provide career training and encourage potential candidates to join YMS in the future. The young professionals will be provided:

1. Project management workshop, chartership workshop, complex problem solving and other soft skills training.

2. Project experience sharing from different disciplines.

3. Opportunities to help YMS events and activities to develop project management skills and understand the work behind the scenes.

4. Dialogues with young professionals from various areas to encourage peer-learning and build strong network.

5. Meaningful team project at the end of the programme to evaluate their learnings and achievements throughout YPP.
