Zero Emission Electric Aircraft through Superconducting DC Distribution Network

Electrification of aviation will be central to achieve ambitious environmental targets for the reduction of carbon emission, fuel burn and noise. This presentation will focus on the system design, control, and fault protection for cryogenic and superconducting DC distribution networks. The lecture itself will be between 40 minutes and 1 hour with time for questions and discussion at the end. Usually our lectures are finished by 8:30pm.
