About
The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IET Queensland Local Network will be held on Thursday, 26 November 2026, at Emporium South Bank. The AGM will include meal, a keynote presentation, and the presentation of the 2026 Annual Report. During the AGM, members will also consider a motion to appoint the new Local Network Committee for 2027.
Technical Talk Abstract:
Satellite connectivity in phones enables communication without relying on traditional cell towers. Instead, signals are sent directly to and from satellites orbiting the Earth, allowing communication in remote or no-coverage areas.
